The gears are then laminated with Aspen to match the rest of the clock.

- Steve Reynolds (papa, of Papa's Clocks) lives in Cody, WY. Several years ago, Steve decided he would like to build a grandfather clock. It fast became a hobby he loves! He takes a piece of wood, and begins to picture a design for a clock. He loves to take raw lumber, plane it down, and begin to create a one of a kind, a never to be duplicated piece of art. Steve LOVES working with wood. Each clock takes over a 100 hours to create. Steve is the artist, he designs, draws, cuts and creates every single piece of the over 150 pieces. He is always looking for a new piece of wood, that might make the next clock, just alittle more beautiful than the last. He takes great pride in making sure each clock is perfect.
